The NIA (National Investigation Agency) registered a case on May 30 against the separatists who, according to it were acting in connivance with active militants of Hizbul Mujahideen, Dukhtarane Millat, Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and other organisations. Kerala actress molestation case: Dileep bail plea rejected by high court

Dileep is facing charges of criminal conspiracy in the molestation case. He, however, pleaded innocence and claimed he was being framed in the case. The prosecution opposed the bail plea claiming they have strong evidence against the actor. The Kerala High Court on Monday rejected the bail plea of Malayalam actor Dileep, who was arrested in connection with the abduction and assault of an actress. Dileep, however, pleaded innocence and claimed he was being framed in the case. The Supreme Court on Monday refused to reopen 215 cases in which 700 Kashmiri Pandits were killed during the 1989-90 unrest in the Valley. Refusing to entertain a plea seeking reprobe and the trial of several persons, including separatist leader Yasin Malik, for alleged offences against the Kashmiri Pandits during that period, an apex court bench observed that it will be difficult to obtain evidence after 27 years. A bench of Chief Justice J S Khehar and Justice D Y Chandrachud said: “You (petitioner) sat over it for last 27 years. Surinder Koli abducted Pinki from outside Pandher's residence when she was returning home from work, and raped and killed her. After committing the crime he beheaded the victim and threw the head and her garments in the drain behind the residence. A CBI court in Ghaziabad sentenced Moninder Singh Pandher and his domestic help Surinder Koli to death in the rape and murder of a 20-year-old woman in Noida. Pronouncing the quantum of sentence, the court observed that the case falls under the ‘rarest of the rare’ category. Pinki Sarkar was abducted and killed in 2006. The duo were found guilty by the court on July 22. Koli abducted Pinki from outside Pandher’s residence when she was returning home from work, and raped and killed her. Six Congress MPs suspended for throwing papers in Lok Sabha

The members threw pieces of paper and disrupted proceedings during the zero hour. The Speaker suspended them and adjourned the Lok Sabha till 2:30. Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Monday suspended Six Congress MPs Gaurav Gogoi, Sushmita Dèv, Ranjeet Ranjan, Adhir Ranjan, K Suresh and K Ragavan for five days for throwing papers in the Lower House of Parliament.
